Stained glass for your home office
A little color beside your desk can make a work corner feel more like your own. I make hanging glass pieces that let you add art without using up your desk surface. Start with the view from your chair, then choose a size and color you enjoy.

Choose the spot before the piece
- Sit where you work. Look at the window and the space beside your screen. Choose a spot you can enjoy without looking through the ornament to read your display.
- Check at your usual working hours. Light and reflections change during the day. If a spot makes your screen harder to see, move the decoration or adjust your existing blind.
- Leave room for movement. Open the window and move the blind or curtain. The glass should stay clear of them and of your desk equipment.
- Check your video-call view. If the piece will be behind you, look at your camera preview before choosing the final position.
My glass artwork is decoration. It does not replace a blind, glare-control film or privacy screen. For the difference between a hanging piece and a window covering, see my glass and window film comparison.
Two sizes for a small work corner
SPARKLE comes in small, 10 × 6 cm (about 3.94 × 2.36 inches), and medium, 14 × 10 cm (about 5.51 × 3.94 inches). A 50 cm (about 19.69 inch) satin cord is included. Check the product page for the available color and size combinations.
Cut out a paper shape at the listed size and hold it at your proposed spot. This helps you judge the scale from your chair. Allow separately for the cord and attachment point. For a round shape, UNITY measures 12.8 cm (about 5.04 inches) across and comes with a 50 cm transparent wire.
Hang it with care
Use a secure fixing suited to the piece and the surface. The included cord or wire does not tell you which wall or window fixing your room needs. Keep glass out of reach of children and pets, and follow my hanging guide. These are hanging ornaments; I do not describe them as freestanding desk accessories.
Questions about a workroom
What if my desk is away from a sunny window?
You can choose glass for its shape and color in the light you have. Do not expect the same appearance as a sunlit product photograph. My color and light guide explains what to look for.
Can I ask for a piece for a particular space?
Yes. Send me the available width and height, a photo of the proposed spot and your preferred colors through my custom work page. I will discuss what is possible before you commit.
