Your creation

A piece of your own

Choose the colors that make you smile, and I'll help you find a design that suits the workshop. As we cut, shape and solder, you'll see your own little work of art take shape.

Your experience

Beginners welcome

Never worked with glass before? You're very welcome. I'll introduce you to the tools and explain each technique, with time to practise and ask questions. You don't need to have it all figured out before you arrive.

My guidance

I'll help at every step

I'll be there to demonstrate, encourage you and help with the fiddly bits. I want you to enjoy making something with your hands and feel proud of what you've created, one little step at a time.

The Tiffany technique

The workshop, step by step

From choosing that first beautiful piece of glass to seeing your finished work in the light, I'll be beside you as you learn.

Choose a design

We'll start with a design that suits the session. I'll help you choose the shape, the number of pieces and the colors you'd like to use.

Get to know the glass

I'll show you how to score and cut the glass, then shape the edges to fit your design. You'll have time to practise with my guidance.

Bring the pieces together

You'll wrap the edges of each piece in copper foil, then solder the pieces together. This is known as the Tiffany technique.

See it in the light

We'll finish your piece and check how it will hang. Then you can see how the colors look with light shining through the glass.

Practical information

Do I need experience?

Not at all! You're very welcome if this is your first time working with glass. I'll explain the tools and techniques and help you choose a design that feels manageable. If you've tried it before, I'd love to hear what you enjoyed and what you'd like to learn next.

Where and when is the workshop?

My workshops take place in the Netherlands. I don't have any dates available at the moment, but you can leave your details below and I'll let you know when that changes. I'll share the exact venue, time and duration before you book, so you can decide if it works for you.

What does a workshop cost?

I'll share the price and everything that's included when I announce new workshop dates. You're very welcome to ask for updates while you think about it; it's free and there's no commitment to book.

Can I come with friends or arrange a private group?

I'd love to hear what you have in mind, whether you'd like to come with a friend, family or colleagues. I don't have any dates available right now. Send me a message with your group size and your ideas, and we can talk about the possibilities when I'm planning new workshops.

Does this form reserve a place?

No, you're simply asking me to keep you updated. I'll get in touch when new dates are available, and you can decide then whether you'd like to join. This form doesn't reserve a place or take a payment.

What will I make?

We'll choose a stained glass design that suits the workshop and your experience, with colors you love. Have a look through the photos for a little inspiration. They show different projects, so not every piece can be made in every session; I'll help you choose something suitable.

What do I need to bring?

I'll send you the practical details beforehand, including what I'll provide and anything you'll need to bring. If there's something that would help you feel comfortable taking part, please tell me. I'm happy to talk it through with you.

What if my plans change?

Please send me a message if your plans change, and we'll talk it through. I'll share the booking and cancellation terms before you confirm a place, so you know what to expect.
