Handmade Stained Glass Gift Guide
Choose a handmade stained glass gift around the person, not just the occasion. A flower, a surfboard silhouette or a playful ornament can reflect an interest they love while adding color to a window or wall. This guide compares four of my designs and the practical details to check before ordering for someone in the United States.
Match the gift to the person and their space
Start with one clue: a favorite flower, a love of the ocean, a bold interior palette or a sun-filled room. Then check the available display space. The measurements below describe the glass; the cord or wire is listed separately and is not a promise of the final hanging drop.
For a flower lover: BLOOM

Medium: 11 cm (4.33 in); large: 14 cm (5.51 in). Includes a 50 cm (19.69 in) glossy cord.
Compare the flower with the recipient’s favorite colors. Choose both the color and size on the product page; availability can differ between combinations.

For a surfer or ocean lover: SURFBOARD

15 cm (5.91 in) high. Includes a 50 cm (19.69 in) satin cord.
A recognizable surfboard silhouette for a personal beach-inspired gift. Compare the photographed options rather than choosing from a color name alone.

For someone who loves playful color: SPARKLE

Small: 10 × 6 cm (3.94 × 2.36 in); medium: 14 × 10 cm (5.51 × 3.94 in). Includes a 50 cm (19.69 in) satin cord.
The small version is narrower than the medium one, useful when the display space is limited. Check both dimensions, not just the size label.
For a sun-inspired housewarming gift: SUNDROP

15 cm (5.91 in) in diameter. Includes a 50 cm (19.69 in) transparent wire.
A sun-shaped accent for a window or wall. Open the product to see this version and explore the other photographed color choices.
Choosing stained glass as a housewarming gift
For a new home, use the dedicated stained glass housewarming gift guide to compare a compact ornament with a longer garland and plan delivery around the move.
A compact ornament is worth considering when you know the recipient’s taste but do not know the dimensions of an entire window. Ask for a photo of the intended spot and measure the clear area, including the space needed for hanging. If it is a surprise, a familiar color from their room is a more useful starting point than guessing a new decorating scheme.
These are decorative artworks, not fitted replacement windows. A supplied cord or wire does not establish which hook, fixing or surface is suitable in the recipient’s home. Check the display arrangement for the chosen piece. For a longer composition, browse the glass garlands; for a geometric alternative, explore glass tiles. Each design has its own dimensions and availability.
Use the window art measuring and display guide before deciding. For further room ideas, see the selections for Los Angeles homes and Dallas homes.

Three checks before ordering a gift for the USA
- Confirm the exact option. Open the product, compare its photographs and select the intended color and size. Handmade pieces can vary slightly in color, texture and dimensions. Check the availability of that combination before adding it to your cart.
- Check the full order cost. Select United States in the country selector for USD pricing. Review the selected product price and shipping for the delivery address at checkout; do not assume a shipping quote for another country applies.
- Ask about the date and presentation. If the gift is for a birthday, housewarming or other fixed occasion, contact me with the product, destination ZIP code and required date before paying. Gift wrapping, a personal note or special delivery arrangements should be confirmed individually rather than assumed.
Read the US shipping and ordering guide for the next steps. Preparation and delivery depend on the individual order.
Questions about choosing a stained glass gift
What if I do not know their favorite color?
Use an existing detail from their home or a personal interest to narrow the choice. Compare the photographs on the product page. If you are unsure between two options, ask me for help before ordering.
Can the recipient display it outside?
This guide starts with indoor display. For an exposed porch, balcony or garden, ask me about the exact artwork and conditions first; outdoor suitability should not be assumed.
Should I choose an existing design or commission a gift?
Choose an existing design if its shape, dimensions and available colors already fit. A commission is worth discussing when the idea or scale is different. Send your idea, approximate measurements, preferred colors, budget in USD, US ZIP code and any deadline. I must assess feasibility and timing before a custom order is agreed.
Bird lovers and anniversaries
For someone who enjoys birds, the bird gift guide explores SWALLOW, its two dimensions and display points. For a couple or partner, the anniversary gift guide compares UNITY with a personal commission and helps plan around the occasion.
Choose by shape and display
