Stained Glass Christmas Window Decor

A Christmas window can feel festive without becoming crowded. Let one handmade glass piece be the focal point, then use your existing decorations around it. My current designs offer a star-like outline, a compact geometric accent and a longer garland—pieces you can enjoy after December as well.

A star-like focal point: INNER COMPASS

INNER COMPASS on linen with evergreen and red ribbon

INNER COMPASS measures 14.5 cm (5.71 in) in diameter and includes a 50 cm glossy cord. Its four-point outline can echo the stars in your holiday decor without being a Christmas-only motif. Leave clear pane around the outline so it remains readable alongside other decorations. View this INNER COMPASS.

A vertical accent: WINTER

WINTER handmade stained glass garland with circular glass elements

WINTER uses glass circles listed at 65 mm (about 2.56 in) in diameter. That is the size of a circle, not the full garland length. Ask for the complete hanging dimensions before choosing a narrow pane or a space above furniture. Use the garland as its own vertical line rather than attaching other decorations to it.

A smaller festive accent: SPARKLE

SPARKLE starts at 10 × 6 cm (3.94 × 2.36 in); the medium is 14 × 10 cm (5.51 × 3.94 in). Both include a 50 cm satin cord. One small piece can be enough when the window already has a wreath or a busy view. Compare SPARKLE options.

Build your display in four simple steps

  1. Pick one anchor. Choose the star-like outline, small ornament or vertical garland first. Make a paper outline to check its scale.
  2. Repeat one color. Repeat a color from the glass in a ribbon or another decoration nearby; check the actual product photographs rather than relying on color names.
  3. Separate the supports. Give each decoration its own suitable attachment. Keep electrical cords, light strings and other ornaments from pulling on the glass.
  4. Check the everyday movement. Open the curtains, blind and window. Keep glass clear of moving parts, flames, heaters and places where it could be knocked.

Use the indoor hanging guide for attachment and clearance checks. The cord length is not the finished hanging drop; measure the arrangement itself.

Before ordering for Christmas

Check the chosen product and availability first. If your display must be ready for a gathering, tell me the product, destination and required date before paying. US customers can use the US shipping guide. A general listing estimate is not a Christmas arrival guarantee.

Questions about Christmas glass decor

Are these ornaments made for a Christmas tree?

This guide uses my pieces as indoor window or wall art. A tree branch has different support and movement conditions. Do not assume it can carry a particular glass piece; ask about the exact item before planning that use.

Do you sell Santa, snowflake or Christmas tree designs?

The selection on this page is drawn from my current photographed collection. Those motifs are not offered here as existing products. A different motif can be discussed as a custom inquiry, subject to feasibility and timing.

What can stay up after Christmas?

These designs also suit a home after Christmas. Remove the seasonal decorations around the glass and see how it sits on its own. The winter window guide focuses on longer-season light and styling; the Christmas gift guide helps when you are buying for someone else.
