Stained Glass Star Suncatchers

A star-shaped glass ornament can be a year-round accent in a window, on a wall or in an open corner. Claire's INNER COMPASS has four sweeping points and an asymmetric arrangement of colored glass inside its outline. It is an artwork inspired by a sense of direction, with a different character from a five-point star or a sun motif.

Start with the outline

When comparing star suncatchers, look beyond the word “star.” Count the points, notice whether the outline is angular or curved, and compare how much open space surrounds it in the photograph. INNER COMPASS uses curved sides that meet at four points. Its dark dividing lines make the individual colored sections part of the design.

For a rounded, radiating silhouette instead, compare the sun suncatcher guide. For a botanical shape, the BLOOM guide offers a different starting point.

Check the scale separately from the cord

The INNER COMPASS listing gives a diameter of 14.5 cm, approximately 5.71 inches, and a separate 50 cm, approximately 19.69 inch, glossy cord. A transparent wire is available on request. These are two different measurements; adding them does not establish the final hanging drop.

Try a paper outline about 5.7 inches across at the intended position. View it from the chair or doorway where you will usually see it. Leave room for the cord and the proposed support, and check that curtains or an opening window will not meet the glass.

Choose a photographed version for its setting

INNER COMPASS appears in several separate product listings. Open the exact version you like in the ornament collection and compare its photographs with your room. A pale wall emphasizes the outline; a window lets the background and daylight become part of the view. The color and light guide helps you compare those settings.

The product describes wall, window and freely suspended mobile-style display. That does not specify a suitable fixing for every surface. Ask about the exact piece and intended arrangement if the support or clearance is uncertain.

Questions before ordering

Is INNER COMPASS a working compass?

No. It is decorative glass artwork inspired by a sense of direction, not a navigation instrument.

Is this only a Christmas decoration?

The design can be chosen for a year-round interior. The listing describes hanging artwork; it does not establish suitability as a tree topper or a particular tree's hanging ornament.

Can I request another color or outline?

Use the custom art inquiry for a design not offered in the listings. Include the intended size, palette, display location and US ZIP code. Claire will assess the request individually.

Check the selected product's current ordering status and the US ordering guide. If a gift date matters, confirm timing before paying; product availability alone is not an arrival promise.
